Buenos Aires, Dec 22 (NA) – A march will be held in the Buenos Aires locality of Tres de Febrero next Tuesday to demand justice for the death of Matías Di Paolo, the firefighter who was run over along with his colleagues a week ago while putting out a fire. Family, friends, and neighbors of Di Paolo will gather this Tuesday, Dec 23 at 7:00 PM at the corner of Santos Vega and Del Kaiser streets to demand justice, sources close to the case confirmed to the Argentine News Agency. Last Thursday, Dec 18, several of the firefighter's colleagues who survived the accident testified at the UFI No. 7 in Morón in the case where driver César Cervantes is under arrest and charged with serious injuries, grievous bodily harm, and homicide. It was learned that they identified another driver involved in the incident who “did not cause the damage directly.” Adrián Rodríguez, the firefighters' lawyer, asked anyone who witnessed the fact, between 8:00 and 8:20 PM on Monday night on Avenida Márquez and Route 201, or who has any information to add to the case, to contact the Tres de Febrero Volunteer Fire Department at 4653-2222.
